The process of crafting this exquisite barware takes 120 minutes per glass. The crystal is exposed to temperatures of around 1000℃ in the kiln, which enhances its durability. A durable set of barware with a thin lip is vital in allowing the true flavours of the delicious botanicals that make up the gin to come through. It takes 7 years of practice and dedication to master the art of hand-blown crystal barware. Each Joshua Steinberg Crystal Sommelier Gin Tumbler is carefully hand-crafted from the beginning. Joshua Steinberg’s Master Gaffer blows each bowl by mouth, following which they are pressed and toughened. This creates an astonishingly perfect shape, allowing for maximum enjoyment, both aesthetically and in terms of degustation.
On your quest to find the perfect tumbler for cocktail-hour, the Joshua Steinberg Crystal Sommelier Gin Tumbler captures the full bouquet of botanicals from your choice of gin. The wide base of the bowl cups perfectly in your hand, allowing the heat of your body temperature to release the scent of the gin. As the glass tapers upwards, the scent is captured and increases in concentration, making it the discerning choice for anyone looking to experience the full aroma of the gin in question.
